The rumbling, that was weird, and Lucy drew in a sharper breath than she meant to before reminding herself that this was okay, or it would be. It was Jason, and maybe he was about as clueless as she was regarding what to do about this, but of all people, he was one she was inclined to stick around for. Even if she couldn't technically help, she could at least see him through this.

"Things are weird all over," she said, what wasn't much of an explanation but was going to have to suffice. "Some... fucked-up island thing. I don't know how it's doing this, but..."
